Cream tea accompanies varied subjects at Cornish study day

Delegates at the first Cornish study day Hot Topics in Ultrasound’ enjoyed views over St Austell Bay and a traditional Cornish cream tea whilst listening to talks on subjects including the use of ultrasound in cystic fibrosis presented by Dr Simon Thorogood, consultant radiologist from Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust.
Hosted by the trust’s ultrasound team, other highlights of the day included What not to miss in the abdomen’ by consultant radiologist at Derriford Hospital Dr Cath Gutteridge and a keynote talk on Superb Microvascular Imaging and shear wave elastography by consultant radiologist Professor Adrian Lim from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
