Paul Strickland Scanner Centre has highlighted the crucial role played by medical imaging in modern healthcare by supporting the International Day of Radiology 2017.
The centre operates as an independent medical charity at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood.
Charity chief executive Claire Strickland said: “Medical imaging has completely transformed cancer care since its introduction. We’re very grateful for the pioneering role we’ve been able to play since the centre opened more than 30 years ago and are looking forward to doing even more in the years ahead.”
