CXDI-Elite wireless flat panel detectors join Canon product line

Canon Medical Components USA Digital Radiography (DR) has released the latest generation of its flat panel detector systems, the CXDI-Elite wireless digital radiography series. The Elite series features a new, high performance scintillator that produces a higher image quality than before.

The lightweight CXDI-Elite FPDs are available in 14″ x 17″, 11″ x 14″ and 17″ x 17″ sizes. A compact, ergonomic design makes the detectors well suited for mobile applications and general radiography tasks. They have smoothly sculpted, built-in handgrips and rounded corners for added comfort. In addition, they are IP57-rated for protection against dust and liquid intrusion. With long battery life and automatic exposure detection, the Elite series operates on Windows 10 with Canon CXDI Control Software NE to optimise workflow. For additional functionality, the software includes ‘pinch to zoom’ touch screen operation.
