Dame Sally Davies drops in to thank COMARE members

COMARE members consultant radiologist Dr Giles Maskell from Truro, Professor Peter Hoskins from Mount Vernon Hospital, COMARE chairman Professor Alex Elliott and chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies.


Chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies paid a short visit to the 100th meeting of the Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE), held in October, to thank members for their work.


Welsh CMO Dr Tony Jewell read out his message of support by video conference and letters of support were read out by the chair from for Northern Ireland CMO Dr Michael McBride and Scotland CMO Sir Harry Burns.
