Moonlight service offers round the clock radiology support

At this year’s UKIO, Vital Radiology is showcasing its Moonlight service, which offers out-of-hours reporting.

Round the clock support can help hospital radiology departments improve service safety and increase capacity. Vital’s Moonlight service offers reporting from 8pm to 8am, seven days a week to help support NHS staff and reduce waiting lists. The flexibility of the service allows radiology departments to tailor it based on their changing needs, with the ability to scale and adapt to busier periods.

Through an integrated platform and team of expert radiologists, Vital says it delivers high quality reporting that saves time for the referrer and leads to informed clinical decisions.

Complete visibility on cases is provided by a dashboard that allows for fast and responsive communication with Vital’s UK-based team. The platform enables fully automated integration with NHS systems and workflow, allowing radiologists to access prior reports and relevant imaging data. Vital also offers subspeciality reporting for a range of conditions. Scans requiring expert attention will be automatically routed to a radiologist with training and experience in that area, ensuring a thorough review is provided.
