Consultant neurosurgeon and neuro-oncology MDT lead Mr Tim Jones at St George’s Hospital, London, has chosen a Hitachi Aloka Alpha 7, with its wide range of compatible surgical transducers for guidance in spinal, brain and burr hole surgery. “Neurosurgery demands specialist ultrasound technology and equipment to deliver superior imaging, together with the necessary compatibility to Medtronic StealthStation for MRI and ultrasound fusion during delicate and complex procedures,” states Hitachi.
