Held over five days, the course was well attended by a mix of consultant and specialist registrar cardiologists and radiologists from around the country. Each attendee had their own Vitrea workstation and the opportunity to review 150 cardiac CT cases. As well as receiving eight hours of lectures, they saw live cases being performed on a Toshiba Aquilion One CT scanner at Heartlands Hospital.
Dr Hussain said: “The course was a great success; everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time and went away with an increased confidence in viewing cardiac CT images.”
