Birmingham Dental Hospital and School of Dentistry have chosen Agfa HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging unified management platform to manage their dental image library and patient appointments, while Xero Viewer will enable sharing of images inside and outside the hospital. The agreement includes support for five years, with the possibility to extend it for another two.
In a competitive procurement tender via the NHS Supply Chain, Agfa HealthCare was shortlisted along with one other supplier, before being selected for the contract.
“The functionalities of the Enterprise Imaging solution and Xero Viewer met our needs, plus we knew and trusted the Agfa HealthCare name, brand and organisation,” said IT project manager Martyn Lanford.
