Devon Medical supports local cancer charity

Devon Medical Equipment Limited has donated £2,300 to Penny Brohn Cancer Care, a local charity founded by Penny Brohn in 1980 as the Bristol Cancer Help Centre.

In 2006 the charity relocated to a purpose-built centre on the outskirts of Bristol and was re-named in memory of Penny, who passed away in 1999 after living with cancer for 20 years.

Representatives from medical equipment company Devon Medical spent a morning seeing the work charity does and wanted to lend their support.

The contribution has paid for cycling jerseys which will be used in events during the next year.
