Digital mammography installed at five sites

At Bristol are Hologic breast health sales specialist Steve Adams, deputy diagnostic imaging lead Victoria Mills, specialist radiographer Paula Batts and Hologic breast health product manager Paula Scully.

Spire Healthcare says that, as a result of its progressive policy on the use of technology in patient care, five facilities have installed Hologic Selenia Dimensions digital mammography systems.  Thames Valley, Cardiff, Bristol, Washington and the Wirral are all using the system while another is being evaluated at Montefiore Hospital in Brighton.

Spire Healthcare’s head of mobile imaging and national imaging advisor Dianne Hopkins said: “We wanted high imaging quality and patient acceptability with ease of use and Selenia Dimensions has a reputation for delivering all of these features. Now installations are complete, we see a real difference in our patient care.”
