Documentary series tells the story of the past, present and future of MRI

With the release of a three-part documentary called The Past, the Present, and the Future of MRI, Everything MRI says it is taking a step beyond traditional education into storytelling that captures the soul of innovation. Developed, written, narrated and directed by Everything MRI and filmed at the Siemens Healthineers headquarters in Erlangen, Germany, it is an exploration of how an idea became one of the most powerful tools in modern medicine.
Across the three episodes, available on the company’s YouTube channel, viewers are taken on a journey through time back to the experimental days of radio frequency interference, Faraday cages and even a green pepper used as a test subject. The documentary also brings into focus the global impact of MRI.
The final episode looks ahead, exploring the future of MRI and the role of emerging technologies.
