Dombrowe receives BIR service medal
Dr Jane Phillips-Hughes with Günter Dombrowe at the presentation of his Distinguished Service Medal.
The British Institute of Radiology has award its Distinguished Service Medal to Günter Dombrowe, who stepped down as president of Radiology and Oncology Congresses in October and is a fellow and past president of the BIR.
President of the BIR Dr Jane Phillips-Hughes presented the award at the BIR annual congress dinner in November, when she praised Dombrowe’s commitment to the BIR and his dedication to the radiology and radiation oncology community, in particular his enthusiastic support of multidisciplinary education.
