Veterinary surgeon Andrew Robinson is joined by Toshiba Medical Systems northern and Scottish branch manager Linda Horsfall and account manager David Billington at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital.
Following its experience with one-slice CT scanning, Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, Derby, decided to make the most of advances in technology and purchase a Toshiba Aquilion RXL 16-slice CT scanner. Dovecote offers a general practice service for local residents and a referral service for vets and pets throughout the Midlands.
Veterinary surgeon Andrew Robinson said: “We originally had a one-slice CT which introduced the usefulness of CT to our practice. Because of its age, we looked into a replacement and after experiencing the pitfalls of buying second-hand equipment, we opted to purchase a new system and, given the advances in technology, to go for a 16-slice model. The Toshiba scanner came well recommended and we have found it reliable and easy to operate.”
