Dr Morrell wins clinical presentation award at WFUMB 2023
British Medical Ultrasound Society member Dr Adam Morrell has won Best Clinical Presentation at the Young Investigator session at the WFUMB (World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology) 2023 congress, which took place in Muscat, Oman, in November.
Consultant sonographer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Dr Morrell will share the $2,000 prize with Hyunwoo Cho, who won the award for Best Technical Presentation. The winning abstracts will be published in the December issue of WFUMB’s digital newsletter ECHOES.
Dr Morrell was winner of the BMUS 2022 Young Investigator competition and the EUROSON 2023 Young Investigator Award in Riga, Latvia, last May.
