DR system returns images for viewing in seconds

Medray Imaging Systems has installed a Carestream DRX-Evolution room at the Mater Hospital, Belfast. An acute hospital that serves north Belfast and the surrounding areas, it offers a wide range of services including acute inpatient, A&E, day procedures, mental illness and maternity services.
Lead radiographer Brian Grant said: “The wireless, cassette-sized DRX detector and EVP Plus image processing software delivers excellent image quality and is very user friendly. The images are ready for viewing and manipulation on the console in seconds and the wireless detector provides positioning freedom.”
