Ealing Hospital consolidates contrast to boost efficiency

Senior radiographer Marivic Corpus, deputy superintendent Amey Sheldekar, Guerbet national product manager diagnostic imaging Peter Spain, radiology department assistant James Hearne and senior radiographer Abdul Momand.
Staff at Ealing Hospital in London have taken delivery of the first of five Flowsens CT injectors from Guerbet.
The new injectors are part of a larger project to replace the trust’s CT scanners with new models.
“Guerbet’s Peter Spain and the team have been brilliant in guiding us through the process of contrast consolidation. We hope to use these new injectors to reduce the amount of contrast we are giving patients through contrast optimization,” said CT superintendent Renita Rafique.
