Ease of use aids trainees and experts alike

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary has chosen a Toshiba Aplio 500 ultrasound system for its recently-opened emergency care centre.

Christine Clark, ultrasound manager of the in-patient x-ray department, said: “We chose the Toshiba machine because of its excellent imaging and ease of use, as we are a teaching hospital with radiology staff at various levels of expertise.   We have also always found the after-sales support to be of the highest standard, another important consideration for a very busy department in a fairly remote part of Scotland where the equipment is used seven days a week.”
