East Cheshire NHS Trust has awarded Philips UKI a five-year contract to supply a package of healthcare informatics solutions that will support coordinated, collaborative care across hospital sites in Macclesfield, Knutsford and Congleton.
The solution will provide workflow management, a clinical repository, diagnostic and image distribution, as well as analytics applications to simplify medical image management and enable effective integration of services across the sites.
Despite the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic the trust successfully went live in June. PACS manager Paul Fenton explained: “The transition was more seamless than I could have imagined possible and this is in no small part due to the tremendous effort that everyone has put in.
