East Sussex continues longstanding partnership

Clinical modality manager Kathryn Dixon, Agfa HealthCare key account manager Kevin McQuillan, superintendent radiographer Karen Betts and Agfa DR/CR presales consultant and applications specialist Martin Tew.
As part of its digital radiography update, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has installed seven Agfa HealthCare DX-G digitisers and five CR 30-X systems. The digitisers support both standard phosphor plates and needle-based detectors, providing state-of-the-art image quality for the next generation in digital radiography across a range of applications.
Superintendent radiographer Karen Betts said: “The image quality was the key factor, but on top of that the equipment is smaller, faster and quieter. Our staff are already used to working with Agfa HealthCare technology which meant that the equipment was easily adopted with minimal training. User-friendly interfaces and speed of installation helped make the transition a success. Looking to the future, the equipment is also DR compatible.”
