Echocardiography scanner equips new facilities at John Radcliffe

Lead echocardiographer Cassandra Hammond with Philips Healthcare cardiac ultrasound account manager Jo Mundy.
Philips Healthcare has supplied an Epiq cardiac ultrasound scanner to the new cardiology outpatient and echocardiography department at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. The facilities situated in the Oxford Heart Centre mean that patients will no longer have to move between several areas across the hospital.
The trust already has a considerable number of Philips ultrasound systems and lead echocardiographer Cassandra Hammond said: “We selected the scanner as we have been very pleased with the Philips equipment we already have in the department and also the service we receive. This latest addition brings state-of-the-art technology to our patients.”
