Eight systems chosen for consistency

Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Trust has purchased eight Aplio MX systems for radiology departments across the trust.
Intended for a whole range of clinical examinations, the systems are sited in the main ultrasound departments at Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals, in the women’s unit at Doncaster and also at Mexborough Montagu Hospital, where there is a busy satellite department.
Trust lead sonographer Pam Grayson said: “Staff at Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust are delighted with the systems installed across the trust sites.”
Having the same base system in a multi-site department where sonographers are moving in a variety of settings gives consistency and operator confidence. Optimisation of individual system presets by Toshiba application specialists is backed-up with the Applications for Life training programme.
