Eminent breast radiology specialist to deliver Fujifilm sponsored symposium

Fujifilm is returning to Symposium Mammographicum as platinum sponsor for the second time, as the charity celebrates 40 years of supporting education, research and innovation in mammography.

At the digital conference in February, professor of radiology at the University of Utah Dr Laurie Fajardo will deliver the Fujifilm symposium ‘Breast density and breast cancer risk assessment – will AI add value?’ Dr Fajardo has been involved in the development and evaluation of many breast imaging technologies and therapies. She has delivered more than 200 invited lectures and scientific papers nationally and inter-nationally and is the author of over 190 scientific papers.

Delegates are also invited to attend the Fujifilm demonstration of the Amulet Innovality. This advanced mammography system can be configured for all clinical mammography applications, including dual-mode tomosynthesis; S-view using iterative reconstruction; contrast-enhanced mammography; stereotactic and tomo-guided biopsy; breast density module; and intelligent automatic exposure control.
