BMUS 2024

The 55th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Medical Ultrasound Society took place at the beginning of December. The theme was Working Together for Better Services and there was a wide range of lectures, exhibitors and practical sessions. The Donald MacVicar Brown keynote lecture ‘Let it flow’ was given by former BMUS president Dr Colin Deane, clinical scientist and honorary senior lecturer at King’s College, London.

Alongside the fully-booked technical exhibition was the new ‘Student, trainee and early careers’ stream, a wellbeing stream and practical sessions that included an endometriosis simulation, breaking bad news workshop and yoga for professionals.
