Exciting times at Bristol Royal

The Discovery A is described as the most advanced DXA system of its kind in the world, featuring a versatile gantry for both dorsal and lateral views with a rotating C-arm for patient comfort and repeat precision.

The Bristol Royal Infirmary is one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals with a wide range of imaging available. Said Sally King “These are exciting times and I am looking forward to utilising the extensive facilities available on this new scanner. This is especially in relation to VFA and the interesting area of body mass composition.”
