Exeter Chiefs open paediatric x-ray room

Players from the Exeter Chiefs opened a refurbished x-ray room at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
Players from the Exeter Chiefs rugby club have officially opened a newly-refurbished paediatric x-ray room at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The room has been given a jungle-style makeover to make it more friendly and welcoming for children following a fund-raising campaign led by radiology staff and with the support of Agfa HealthCare.
Senior radiographers Lizzie Linford and Rachel Simpson said: “Thanks to Joel, our hard-working staff, our generous supporters and the kind donation from Agfa towards our campaign, we now have two fun x-ray rooms. Their generous support has made visits to the x-ray department less daunting for young children. Even adults have been finding the new artwork a good distraction.”
