First Contact Health adds dedicated MRI scanner after clinic relocation
First Contact Health in Guernsey has chosen Esaote’s dedicated MRI O-scan as a complementary service to its core business. The O-scan has the ability to produce highly diagnostic, detailed images of extremities. As an open scanner, O-scan can help make patients who suffer with claustrophobia feel more comfortable.
First Contact Health imaging manager Claudia Cosgrove commented: “Our first MRI scanner was an Esaote C-scan – we have grown the service and relocated to a new clinic which was the perfect time for us to upgrade to the Esaote O-scan.
“At First Contact Health you can experience an innovative approach to the diagnosis and treatment of muscle and joint issues. We offer a vast selection of treatments with our range of healthcare professionals, from physiotherapists to an orthopaedic consultant, along with our on-site rehabilitation gym and scanning
facilities. Our scanning facilities include an extremity cone beam CT scanner, ultrasound scanner and 2021 MRI O-scan.”
