First multi-modality British Cardiovascular Imaging Meeting

In early May, Edinburgh played host to the first multi-modality British Cardiovascular Imaging Meeting. It was organised through a collaboration of three of the UK’s cross-sectional cardiovascular imaging societies, the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging/British Society of Cardiac Computed Tomography, British Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance and the British Nuclear Cardiology Society.

Highlights of the meeting included keynote lectures from Dr Marcello Di Carli from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Dr Jonathon Leipsic from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and Professor Frank Bengel from Hannover Medical School, Germany.
