First of four DR rooms installed
MIS account manager Midlands Tony Rogers, radiology site manager Nick Clark, senior radiographer Amanda Douglas, deputy superintendent radiographer Lucy Lewis, MIS account manager – north Phil Jones and Asteral chief technologist Francesca Evans.
University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust has partnered with Asteral to install the first of four digital x-ray rooms at Glenfield Hospital radiology department. The GC85, manufactured by Samsung and distributed by MIS Healthcare, is one of four rooms that will are being installed at the hospital in the next year as part of an Asteral Select contract.
Hospital radiology site manager Nick Clark said: “Innovative automation aimed at reducing RSI, ease of use and novel features such as S-Align and S-Share show a real advance in plain film room technology.”
