First-time exhibitor AXREM looks forward to engaging with the imaging community and meeting new members

The International Imaging Congress will be the first time that AXREM has exhibited at an event, so the team is looking forward to engaging with delegates. The theme of the stand will be ‘Community’: “We look forward to speaking to the imaging community, including potential members about the benefit of being part of the association, but also to clinicians and colleagues working in the NHS about some of the manifestos, position papers and best practices guidelines we have published, and what being part of AXREM really means,” the association team of Sally, Melanie and Helena say.

It is also keen to speak to NHS colleagues about the AXREM Member Accreditation Scheme (AMA) and AMA Clinical. “AMA and AMA Clinical offer a true low cost ‘not for profit’ accreditation scheme which reduces the cost burden within the supply chain, costs that would otherwise inevitably find themselves reflected in the cost of products and services borne by NHS trusts,” they continue. The schemes are specifically aligned with NHS requirements and policies. The AXREM Member Accreditation Scheme Council includes representations from The Society and College of Radiographers, the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, The Royal College of Radiologists and The British Institute of Radiology. “We don’t ask trusts to sign up to our scheme, but we do ask that all trusts throughout the UK recognise our scheme alongside any commercial schemes they wish to engage with,” the team adds.

“There will be a photo easel on display where delegates can come and see if they appear and how many industry faces they recognise. We will have some goodies on our stand so you can come and get a snack to accompany your breaks on us.”
