First UK Essenza at London Bridge

London Bridge Hospital, part of the HCA hospitals group, has installed the first Siemens Magnetom Essenza MRI in the UK.  The 1.5 Tesla system will join three other Siemens MRI systems at the hospital to provide a streamlined imaging service.

Short and lightweight, the Essenza incorporates the flexibility, accuracy and speed of Tim (total imaging matrix) technology with a powerful innovation, the IsoCenter Matrix coil.  Says Siemens: “This coil makes patient setup faster and easier, eliminating the need for repositioning, even during entire spinal scans. ”
