First workshop could lead to a nationwide roll-out
Contributing to the workshop were consultant radiologists Dr Mike Michell, Dr William Teh and Dr Robin Wilson with Hologic UK sales manager Andrew Hatton.
A Hologic biopsy workshop held in London was conducted by three leading radiologists in breast imaging and biopsy in MRI, x-ray mammography and ultrasound.
The meeting was accompanied by a practical workshop and was the first since Hologic UK began marketing its breast health products directly in England, Scotland and Wales. It was attended by practitioners from across the UK.
Sales manager Andrew Hatton said: “We are naturally delighted to work with three eminent clinicians in the field to bring this biopsy meeting to London. Our future plans include the possibility to roll out similar events across Britain.”
