Flagship diagnostic clinic installs injection system

Bayer clinical specialist Martin Machalewski, CT account manager Phil Baker, MRI account manager Elsy Keniry, LycaHealth chief operations manager Mark Judge, senior radiographers Dennis Salandanan, and James Bathala, LycaHealth ceo Dr Manpreet Gulati, director Sen Kandiah, administrator Joel Greene, senior radiographer Deepa O’Riordan and administrator Isabella Granger.

LycaHealth, a new private diagnostic and consultative outpatient clinic in the heart of London’s Canary Wharf, has acquired a Medrad Spectris Solaris MR injection system from Bayer HealthCare which is compatible for use with its new 3.0T MR scanner.

The mobile injector unit has enhanced power management and pressure limit control while the independent keep vein open (KVO) rate provides greater automation of the injection process.

LycaHealth chief operations manager Mark Judge said: “We are so delighted with the system in our flagship Canary Wharf site that we have purchased another one to be installed in our other new site in Orpington which will have the same imaging set-up.  We chose this system because it is compact with a colour touch screen unit and has an intuitive design which reduces and optimises set up time.”
