Fluoroscopy package proves useful for biopsies

Staff at Victoria Infirmary, an acute hospital in South East Glasgow, have found learning to use a Toshiba Aquilion CXL CT scanner straightforward having used Toshiba equipment before.  Site superintendent radiographer Gary Grayson said: “The scanner is delivering excellent image quality and we are impressed with the dose saving measures on the system.

“We have also found the addition of the fluoroscopy package to be extremely useful, particularly for biopsies.  As existing Toshiba users the training on the new system was easy and seamless.”
