For angioplasty at Bedford
With interventional radiologist Dr Richard Moxon are Siemens corporate business manager Graham Walker, service lead vascular and interventional radiology Sue Knight, specialist radiographer Stephen Faulkner, radiology manager Carole Darnell and nursing sister Alison York.
Bedford Hospital NHS Trust has installed the Artis zee ceiling-mounted imaging system. Its large flat detector is ideally suited for angioplasty and interventional renal work. It was chosen to create the space needed for an operating environment. Its adjustable tableside control makes image acquisition easy and enables simple manoeuvrability.
“Siemens provided excellent training which helped the transfer,” said radiology manager Carole Darnell.
