Frimley Park installs multi-dosing injectors to increase patient safety
Frimley Park Hospital has installed two of Bracco’s CT Exprès syringeless multi-dosing injectors in its CT department. Contrast media can be injected directly from the contrast bottles rather than having to be decanted, saving valuable time.
CT lead radiographer Carmina Esperanza said: “We chose the CT Exprès injector because it has all the features that we need for our busy department. It is multi-dose and multi-patient, which saves radiographers’ time. It is also cost-efficient and user-friendly. And, most importantly, it is built to maximise patient safety.”
Aldershot Centre for Health is also in the process of having a CT Exprès installed for its CT scanner as Bracco continues to support Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
