GCU student receives award for best research

Final year student at Glasgow Caledonian University Debbie Doolan from Greenock has received the Fujifilm Award for Best Research Performance.
Debbie graduated with a first class honours degree in diagnostic imaging after four years’ study. Her research comprised a critical review comparing thoracic ultrasound to plain chest x-rays for the detection of pneumonia.
Fujifilm Medical UK general manager Adrian Waller said: “This is the fifth year we’ve supported the GCU student award for Best Research Performance and we’re delighted to continue to recognise excellence in new radiographers joining our industry. Congratulations to Debbie on her award and we wish her well in her career at Inverclyde.”
