Gloucester Royal replaces ultrasound systems

Gloucester Royal Hospital has acquired two Toshiba Aplio 500 Platinum edition ultrasound scanners for its antenatal department, to replace two existing Toshiba systems.

Ultrasound lead superintendent sonographer Cheryl Davies said: “We decided to opt for Toshiba again as we are already very familiar with the systems and find the equipment very user-friendly, with superb ergonomics and image quality.

“They are situated in our antenatal department, where the types of scans we perform range from 20-week routine scans, to growth, NT and early pregnancy scans.”
