Grampian Health Services has purchased five Toshiba Aplio XG high-end ultrasound systems with Precision Imaging in preparation for the introduction of nuchal screening.

The five systems have been delivered and installed throughout the region in Aberdeen, Huntly, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Elgin.

The Aplio has a proven track record all over the Grampian area, with systems already in use throughout the radiology and cardiology sectors.

NHS Grampian provides services for half a million people spread over 3,000 square miles of city, town and rural communities.
