Guernsey Hospital goes digital for general imaging

The Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey, has replaced an analogue x-ray system with a Philips DigitalDiagnost Flex Room with wireless portable detector.   It is the first digital x-ray room for general imaging at the hospital, which is intended to accommodate a high number of patients and a wide variety of applications and projections.

Lead superintendent radiographer Linda Gardner said: “The new system combines speed, flexibility and ease of use and has certainly helped us to speed up our workflow and improve the service we provide.”
