Guy’s and St Thomas’ unveils TomoTherapy

Chair of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Sir Hugh Taylor has unveiled what is said to be the first TomoTherapy machine in a London NHS hospital.  He was joined by Tom Dance, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year and has been treated on the trust’s TomoTherapy machine. The system compliments existing radiotherapy treatment units, enabling the trust to increase treatment capacity.
