Happy hour provides an informal networking opportunity for AXREM members at UKIO

In June, the diagnostic imaging and oncology community descended on Liverpool for UKIO. AXREM reports that numbers were up on the last few years and the aisles of the exhibition were busy: “The CPD sessions on our members’ stands were bursting into the aisles and the excitement around the event could be felt.”

With AXREM having a growing membership and more than half of its membership showcasing their latest innovations at UKIO, and many more members visiting, this was a good opportunity for the association’s community to network and show the products and services they offer.

AXREM hosted a successful Happy Hour event in the Albert Dock and more than 350 guests attended the Revolution Bar. The event was by invitation only, and companies that sponsored the event welcomed their colleagues, stakeholders and customers. “The evening was full of fabulous networking and fun, with guests having their pictures drawn by caricaturists, being entertained by a magician and being pranked by our singing waiters,” AXREM says.

The Happy Hour was sponsored by Agfa Radiology Solutions, Agfa HealthCare IT, Aidoc, AMDS, Barco, Canon Medical, Ergea, Everlight Radiology, Fujifilm, GE HealthCare, Nanosonics, OpenRad, Philips, Probo Medical, Scribetech, Sectra, Siemens Healthineers, Smart Reporting, Soliton IT and Xograph.

“We wanted to make this event a great informal networking opportunity, where after a busy day our com-munity could come together, let their hair down but also have some meaningful engagements and conversations,” said AXREM ceo Sally Edgington. “Based upon the feedback we have had so far and having looked at all the photos, I think we delivered an event people enjoyed and want to come back to next year.”
