Harefield Hospital’s CT scanner is user friendly

Senior radiographer Helen Richards, deputy CT superintendent radiographer Gemma Marshall, cross-sectional superintendent radiographer Manoj Joseph, consultant cardiothoracic radiologist Dr Paras Dalal, senior radiographer Emma Bell, imaging service manager Tracey Yarker and GE account manager Steve Lacey.

Harefield Hospital has installed GE Healthcare’s CT Revolution EVO scanner.  The scanner is part of the trust’s replacement program and funded by Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital’s charity.

“We are impressed with the reduction in radiation dose, fast scanning and ease of use as well as the patient friendly environment,” said imaging service manager Tracey Yarker.  “Training on the scanner has also been very staff friendly, even though the majority of radiographers have never used a GE scanner before.”
