Harley Street clinic adds 3D mammography

The Harley Street Clinic Diagnostic Centre, part of HCA International, is a comprehensive private outpatient diagnostic centre and is equipped with advanced imaging technology across many disciplines.
Open six days a week, with instant access and no waiting time the diagnostic centre now offers many procedures new to The Harley Street Clinic. One is the Hologic 3D mammography system installed last summer. The system also includes Affirm 3D biopsy module, which came on-line early this year.
“The Hologic installation replaced a competitor system that had served the department well, but the Hologic 3D mammography system is undoubtedly a step up for our symptomatic and screening patients,” explained breast imaging lead Joy Boyle.
