Helium-free MRI is central to relocatable 3.0T project

Philips, Lamboo Medical and Cobalt Health have entered into an agreement to design, develop and install a Philips 3.0T MRI relocatable system within a Lamboo Hybrid relocatable solution, creating a combined solution. It is tailored for on-site accommodation from three to six months and aims to further enhance diagnostic confidence and MRI workflow.
Philips district leader Jane Robinson commented: “We’re delighted to consolidate our close relationship with Cobalt and Lamboo. This MoU paves the way for further collaboration in the 3.0T MRI domain, which is so important for both clinical patients and research.”
Lamboo Medical sales manager Arjan Kuipers continued: “We are thrilled to partner with Philips and Cobalt in delivering a groundbreaking hybrid relocatable solution, featuring the state-of-the-art Philips 3.0T MRI system. This exclusive collaboration not only reflects our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability but also strengthens the foundation for long-term collaboration and continued advancement in patient-centred mobile healthcare.”
Cobalt Health director of clinical operations Karen Hackling-Searle added: “Maintaining a 3.0T MRI service anddelivering this using helium-free MRI operations is crucial to Cobalt’s mission to enable timely, accurate diagnosis and treatment through sustainable innovation in imaging. We are excited to work with Philips and Lamboo on this project, to deliver the next generation of MRI to the UK on a hybrid relocatable.”
