Hologic Discovery for Southampton General Hospital

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust has been using Hologic systems supplied by Vertec for more than 20 years and now has three systems in operation.   A Hologic Discovery A DXA system with Apex 4 software running on a Windows 7 platform has now been installed with data from older systems being transferred over seamlessly.

Head of osteoporosis service Pat Taylor said: “We are very happy with the Hologic densitometers and the after sales service and support we receive from Vertec.”
