Diagnostic and imaging equipment supplier Hospital Services Limited (HSL) has teamed up with healthcare technology company Barco to present a series of in-person and virtual lunch sessions.
During July (via video conferencing), August and September, HSL and Barco teams will visit radiology departments across Great Britain to host educational lunch sessions that can be integrated as part of scheduled radiology governance meetings or held as standalone staff training and networking events. The sessions will serve as an opportunity to connect with teams following a year of reduced contact during the pandemic, to review in-place technologies and discuss areas surrounding compliance, following correct Royal College of Radiologists rules, and guidelines for displays. Teams will be able to speak with company representatives and try out new technologies.
HSL ceo Dominic Walsh said: “As a relationship-orientated company, we have missed the opportunity to spend time with our clients during a period of reduced contact due to COVID-19 guidelines. As restrictions ease, we look forward to catching up with radiology teams, reviewing technologies already in place within their facilities and sharing with them the advancements that have taken place over the last year. Additionally, we are looking forward to hosting lunches as a thank you for the important work carried out by radiology departments across the UK this past year.
Barco vp of diagnostic imaging Geert Carrein added: “We’re happy to see that HSL is creative in finding a way to safely reach the radiology departments it works with. Our representatives will gladly help out with any questions regarding our diagnostic displays, offering tips and tricks, aided by our QAWeb Enterprise software for centralised QA and compliance management.”
