Register now to participate in ICIS 2021 – the 20th Annual Teaching Course of the International Cancer Imaging Society to be held virtually from Sunday 19 to Wednesday 22, September 2021.
With the theme ‘Concepts in Cancer Imaging’, ICIS 2021 is designed to enhance learning and knowledge for radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists and other specialists interested in the field of oncological imaging.
The four-day programme will cover a wide range of topics related to the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with cancer with sessions on state-of-the-art oncological imaging and practical approach to imaging. In addition, case-based workshops will be conducted where the focus will be on specific cases related to each topic, each chosen to demonstrate particular learning points. Cancer genetics, cancer diagnosis and staging, response assessment, the role of imaging in treatment planning, the role of interventional radiology for cancer and mimics of malignancy are all included in the comprehensive programme.
The majority of presentations will be delivered ‘live’ and participants will be encouraged to join in the dialogue with faculty during Q&A at the end of each session. In addition to the live sessions, nine ‘on-demand’ presentations covering a range of topics to complement the main programme will be available for you to watch at your own convenience.
A parallel stream will be broadcast where selected scientific abstracts will be presented with the opportunity for Q&A. In addition, a daily case-based seminar will be broadcast, each focussing in detail on prostate, liver, lung and oncological whole-body MRI. Selected scientific and educational posters will be available to view online at your convenience.
ICIS 2021 is accredited with 18 CPD credits awarded for the four-day course according to the CPD scheme of the Royal College of Radiologists. European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) has been applied for. EACCME European CME Credits (ECMECs) can be converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit by applying to the AMA. Personal CPD certificates can be generated following completion of the ICIS 2021 daily online feedback form.
