Ideal for spinal injections

At BMI Woodlands Hospital are radiology manager John Carmichael, consultant spinal surgeon Mr D Fagan and Philips Healthcare account manager, Yorkshire, Humberside and NE England Greg Webster.

BMI Woodlands Hospital, Darlington has purchased a Philips mobile surgical C-arm for its new endovascular service.

According to Philips, the BV Endura is a versatile workhorse designed to improve workflow, offering vascular functionality with a wide field of view.

Consultant spinal surgeon Mr Fagan said: “In my spinal practice I perform hundreds of spinal injections a year and this needs to be carried out efficiently and easily in theatre.  The Philips C-arm is easy-to-use and provides excellent imaging quality, which benefits my patients with a minimum time in the operating theatre.”
