Image fusion capability for CT, MR and US scans

Welcoming some newly-acquired GE Healthcare ultrasound systems at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester are (from left) medical imaging helper Kim Moore, head of ultrasound Amanda Lund, consultant radiologist Dr Andy Page, ultrasound advanced practitioner Sandra Sommer and medical imaging helper Jackie Foulds.

The hospital has acquired two Logiq E9, featuring Volume Navigation, to combine multi-modality imaging with any ultrasound mode including contrast enhanced ultrasound and a Fusion tool to merge real time imaging with previously acquired CT, MR or ultrasound images. They also chose a Logiq P5 and three Logiq e systems – the latest addition to the Logiq range – to cover a wide range of imaging applications.
