Impressive features onboard E8 and E9 systems

At the handover of a GE Healthcare Voluson E8 ultrasound system to the obs / gynae ultrasound department at Ipswich Hospital are ultrasound department sonography manager Maggie Lawler and advanced practitioners in ultrasound Andrea Woods, Ginny Haynes, Sheila Edwards and Yvonne Mowles. The hospital has also acquired a Logiq E9 for use in a wide range of radiology applications.
The Voluson E8 is GE Healthcare’s premier women’s healthcare system, said to deliver high image quality with a comprehensive range of diagnostic tools for earlier diagnoses. It features a new 4D transvaginal probe to help see fetal abnormalities earlier and improve diagnostic confidence in complex gynaecological examinations.
Maggie Lawler said: “We are delighted to add the E8 and E9 to our range of ultrasound equipment. Our sonographers are achieving outstanding image clarity, resolution and tissue differentiation on machines with impressive ergonomic design features.”
